Nikki (she/her) is a mixed-race, queer practicum student in the Master of Counselling Psychology: Art Therapy program at Adler University, with a background in film and public art. Her practice is grounded in intersectional feminism and narrative theory, which means she pays attention to how both larger systems and personal stories shape our experiences, and invites you to reclaim the ones that feel most true to you. She is especially drawn to the “in-between” spaces—between identities, roles, cultures, or life stages. In your work with her, you might talk, make art, or simply notice what’s present, always moving at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
